How is age calculated 'as on' a cut-off date?+
Your age is counted in completed years, months and days from your date of birth to the cut-off date given in the notification (often 1 January or 1 August).
What does 'maximum age 27 years' mean?+
Usually it means you must not have completed 28 years on the cut-off date. The calculator shows the exact 'born between' dates. Always check the wording in your notification.
How much age relaxation do OBC, SC/ST and PwBD get?+
For most central government jobs: OBC 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwBD 10 years (13 for OBC, 15 for SC/ST). Some exams and states have different rules.
